Translated in Portuguese: “Sistema Electronica de Logistica de Vacinas” (SELV) is a version of OpenLMIS configured to support the District Logistics Capacity Study in Mozambique. SELV is replacing vrMIS, the first logistics management software VillageReach implemented in Mozambique.
SELV enhances the immunization supply chain with robust data insights, minimized admin tasks and assured stock availability, supporting national immunization goals and public health.

How It Works
- The functionality of SELV is very similar to vrMIS; however it includes enhanced reporting capabilities, and the ability to collect data on a tablet. Data collected includes information on the vaccine stock that is delivered to each health facility, and how many vaccines are given to children.
- Enhanced Data Quality and Timeliness – Automates data collection, ensuring timely, accurate logistics data for effective immunization.
- Reduced Administrative Burden – Streamlines data entry, allowing health workers to focus on critical immunization tasks.
- Government System Management – Builds government capacity for active management, fostering long-term sustainability.
- Integrated Health Systems – Links LMIS with HMIS for comprehensive insights, improving healthcare delivery.
