VillageReach launched Transitioning Well in 2019 and it has become the approach to transitioning solutions to governments and partners. Transitioning Well has deep collaboration with all stakeholders at its heart, because we cannot drive sustained impact alone.

Transition to government requires activities, resources, and budgets, so it’s important to include these in your proposals for funding. Look at the TW Guidelines to become familiar with the needed milestones and associated activities.

We embody the principle of “nothing for us, without us,” by ensuring that community voices are heard and reflected in health care decision-making. The Power of Global Learning
We tackle some of the world’s most challenging health delivery problems and our global presence drives innovation and effectiveness. Our experience implementing health solutions across often resource-constrained settings has forged a powerful feedback loop: we learn, adapt and refine our approaches to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions. To radically collaborate with the private sector to drive sustained impact at scale, we help to build strong public-private collaborations, which ultimately allows private sector innovations and expertise to fill gaps in the public health systems. We offer advisory services to governments, private companies, innovators and start-ups. These packages of TA services help build strong and sustained public-private collaboration.
Increasing Local Private Sector Engagement in LMIC Public Health Systems
Outsourced Transport Resource Center (OTRC): The OTRC provides technical assistance services to African governments, private sector transporters and technical partners integrating private sector transport into public health supply chains.
Advisory Services for Innovators: Our advisory services are designed to help innovators, including startups, align their innovative products and services with African government public health system priorities, needs and context.
Cote d’Ivoire M-Vaccin Project: We provide technical assistant for M-Vaccin, a public-private partnership that creates digital immunization records that empower health care workers to track child immunization status, improve immunization data quality for decision making and better communicate with caregivers.
Private Distributors: We are working to increase collaboration between government and private distributors in Africa, as well as providing technical assistance to African private distributors on working capital management.
