Nairobi, Kenya (17 October, 2023) – VillageReach is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Norah Obudho, MD, MPH, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Obudho is a highly experienced public health leader passionate about improving people’s health in under-reached communities. She currently serves as Health Integration & East Africa Director at WomenLift Health.
Dr. Obudho has over 15 years of experience in public health, including designing, managing, and leading teams in various programs funded by BMGF, USAID, CDC, EU, GF, VLAD, HP, and the World Bank. She has worked on various issues, including Leadership, HIV, maternal and newborn health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and empowerment.
Dr. Obudho is a graduate of Nairobi University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, and a certificate in Global Health Leadership from the Afya Bora Consortium. She is also a certified coach.
