What you’ll learn
Human-Centered Design: Effectively engage with communities and tailor your programs to meet their needs and preferences Theory of Change: Develop a clear framework for your program to address specific problems and achieve the desired impact Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Develop robust, M&E plans to track program performance and measure impact Continuous Improvement: Use data to improve your programs over time Communications: Use storytelling to share the purpose and impact of your program
What to expect
Tailored learning: Start with a one-to-one meeting to establish your goals and priorities related to the specific programs and project you work on Flexible schedule: About 2 hours of engagement per week, tailored to fit your personal schedule Live online sessions with expert instructors: Learn from seasoned public health professionals with extensive experience working with rural health departments Individual mentorship: One-on-one coaching sessions to apply course learnings to your job and real-world challenges Interactive small group sessions: Meet with other PNW public health professionals
When is it?
Courses run Sept 2025 – Feb 2026 $4,000 per person, if you register by June 30, 2025 $4,250 per person, if you register July 1, 2025 or later
