The Vaccinodromes of Kinshasa and Abidjan

By VillageReach

In December 2021, VillageReach began working with governments to launch vaccinodromes in the DRC and  Côte d’Ivoire. The following videos document the development of these sites and the impact that they are having in bringing COVID-19 vaccines closer to communities and ensuring equitable access to vaccines for all.

In partnership with the Expanded Program on Immunization, supported the Ministry of Health in DRC to launch four vaccinodromes across the area to continue the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. This video shows how these vaccinodromes work and the ways they are serving the communities they are in.

This is the story of Michel who met a Community Health Worker who educated him on the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. He went to the Gombe vaccinodrome (operated by VillageReach) in Kinshasa where he had his experience getting his dose.
