Supply Chain integration Framework

Strengthening
public health care supply chains in Africa

This framework reduces the inefficiencies of complex systems to make sure essential health products get to the people who need them.

The goal of Universal Health Coverage in low- and middle-income countries by 2030 will only be possible if supply chains that deliver health products, medicines, and services are strengthened and resilient. And yet, supply chains are vulnerable to global health emergencies and infrastructure challenges.

After 20 years of getting health products to under-reached populations, VillageReach produced a practical integration framework for supply chain management that is people-centered, sustainable and equitable. The framework focuses on the data, technology and partnerships required to ensure a complex supply chain withstands and improves when faced with disruptions.
