Aida brings a nuanced understanding of what it takes to introduce new vaccinations to Mozambique and can draw on her experience managing program implementation with government officials, funders and other civil society organizations. She works closely with Mozambique’s Ministry of Health and provides technical assistance and strategic guidance to government officials. She also leads and manages the implementation of VillageReach programs in Mozambique, including the Drones for Health program, electronic immunization registries and new interventions as part of VillageReach’s COVID-19 response. Prior to VillageReach, Aida worked for Malawi’s Ministry of Education School Health Department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Social Science and a Masters of Public Health from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia.
