Carla leads technical implementation of VillageReach’s innovative transportation solutions using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, including managing partners and sub-contractors, designing solutions, and ensuring high-quality operations. In her role, she manages relationships with Ministry of Health officials, the Civil Aviation Authority, provincial and local government authorities and community-level organizations, while also overseeing ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities and driving evidence-based decision making for VillageReach’s drones for health program in Mozambique.
Prior to joining VillageReach, Carla worked as a Senior Program Officer and Provincial Operations Coordinator at FHI360 in Beira, Mozambique, where she led health care initiatives like HIV clinical assistance, tuberculosis testing for health personnel and assisting orphan children.
She received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Africa University in Zimbabwe and a Master of Business Administration from Catholic University.
